Nigerian Dwarf Goats

Cute little dairy goats that are fun and easy to manage!
Now listed as "recovering" on the American Livestock Breeds Conservation list.

We milk goats for our own consumption,
preferring raw milk to industrially produced milk.
We do not pasteurize our milk - quite the opposite!

It is quick chilled in the freezer for up to an hour immediately after it is strained. Neither do we use hormones or antibiotics.

A by-product of milk is babies!
Each year we have a crop of registered Nigerian Dwarf babies, registered Toggenburgs, and grade Saanen kids looking for love. Some years we breed for "minis": registered mini Toggs, and mini Saanens.
If you are interested in our "KIDS FOR SALE"
contact us, and we'll put you on our baby announcement list!

We can offer you lessons on our Toggenburg training doe, Sadie, or Lucinda the Saanen.

Want to bring your does into milk?
"Fast Eddie" our registered buck is also happy to offer
buck services to does that are tested CAE/CL negative.

Links for Learning

There is much discussion about the benefits and risks of raw milk, as well as the effect of the chemicals used on industrial dairy animals and processes used in bottling milk.

We encourage you to do your own research in this area.

Some keywords that will aid in your discoveries are: rSBT, homogenized, pasteurized, hormones, antibiotics
