  Dam: Eugenie (2008, unregistered) SOLD
Sire: Grizwold (registered) grey mouflon FOR SALE
                                 ADU RAM GRIZWOLD B24H 1R
Nala's dam has exceptional fleece, and her sire excellent conformation. She should develop to be a beautiful sheep! Nice prospect for a hobby farm or spinner's flock. Nala is the absolute darling of the farm, would make a wonderful pet. Round and fuzzy, inquisitive and confident - adorable - reminds us of a koala bear!

Dam: Agatha (registered) white polled SOLD
                                  PSS 1PE 449S

Sire: Edsel (registered) solid moorit polled SOLD
                                  SVD MOORIT RAM B5P 41U
Nitro is a polled spotted moorit lamb!!! Fabulous lines. Agatha has an enormous, well balanced udder for establishing milking lines, as does his sire's line. This is an outstanding registered breeding ram prospect.
Recessive homozygous moorit, recessive homozygous spots, at least one allele recessive solid pattern, recessive homozygous polled. Enormous, independent, active lamb!

Dam: Sibyl (2007,unregistered) spotted black SOLD

Sire: Grizwold (registered) grey mouflon FOR SALE
                                 ADU RAM GRIZWOLD B24H 1R

Neville was the first of Sibyl's twins. He is a horned black mouflon, and carries spotting. Sibyl, also Eugenie's dam, has exceptional fleece, and Grizwold, excellent conformation and horn set. A gorgeous ram lamb for an unregistered flock! He is growthy ...downright fat, with downy soft fleece.

Nemechek, named for a Nascar driver, was second born, and smaller than his twin, Neville, but that didn't stop this speedy little guy from edging out his brother for first colostrum. Too fast to get a good picture yet... the only time he holds still is to eat. Horned grey black - with spots!  on the top of the head and backs and insides of the ears.

Both have excellent registered lineage, but since Sybil's sire could not be established between the two rams in the flock of her birth, she was not registered.

Dam: Susie (registered) grey mouflon SOLD
                                 SUSIE 06T
Sire: Zebedee (registered) black badgerface SOLD
                                 PLF RAM ZEBEDEE B3H 1T
Named for a beautiful dark supermodel...she is posing for the picture!
She is simply elegant in her appearance and stance. Look at the pedigree on this beautiful black mouflon ewe lamb. On daddy's side - a great line, with leadersheep genetics, ARI, HORVI, and BISKUP...on mama's - straight to Yeoman and Iceland (not just AI - but original importations.) We held Susie's '08 black mouflon ewe lamb, Eira, for our breeding flock.

Dam: Frieda (registered) white FOR SALE
                         ADU EWE FRIEDA 01H 2R
Sire: Grizwold (registered) grey mouflon
                                 ADU RAM GRIZWOLD B24H 1R

Two lovely black mouflon ewes! Both parents are exceptionally well built, mama has exquisite fleece. Not a milky line - but definitely a gorgeous fiber and substantial meat line.

Dam: Sasha (registered) grey mouflon
                    SASHA 05T  FOR SALE

Sire: Zebedee (registered) black badgerface
PLF RAM ZEBEDEE B3H 1T  SOLD

Another black mouflon! This one is a little doll...mama is from our friendliest line with the W-I-D-E horns (Khalid x Lizzie)...and leadersheep on daddy's side. We're anxious to see how she grows! We have three sheep from this maternal line in our breeding flock...and will be retaining one from daddy's side. An excellent prospect for new bloodlines.

Dam: Enid (registered) black badgerface
PLF EWE ENID B3H 9U  FOR SALE
 Sire: Zebedee (registered) black badgerface
PLF RAM ZEBEDEE B3H 1T  SOLD
Who would have expected a solid black lamb from this pair? A better picture will be posted soon! Is growing out to be a lovely girl. Both parents have excellent temperament, there are W-I-D-E horns from the ewe's side again...and daddy brings the leadersheep genetics. She looks to have elfin horns, likely carrying a gene for polling. Exceptional locks in her fleece.

Dam: Emma (Granny) (registered) grey moorit
                                YEOMAN EWE M2H 191J

Sire: Edsel (registered) solid moorit polled
SVD MOORIT RAM B5P 41U   SOLD
Just for fun...look at mom's pedigree...10/14 sheep are "ICELAND" - not AI. Granny is now 10 years old.  She has travelled the continent, across the US, originating in Stefania's flock in Canada. She deserves a pampered retirement. This will be her last lambing. We are so thrilled to announce this little ewe lamb - a sugar-lipped grey moorit - just like mama, who just might be showing a little bit of spotting!
Noisette is clean polled.

 Dam: Sophie (registered) Black spotted
                                SOPHIE 02T  FOR SALE

Sire: Edsel (registered) solid moorit polled
SVD MOORIT RAM B5P 41U SOLD
Carries solid, moorit and spotting...his dam is one of my favorite sheep - she friendly and outgoing - loves to welcome visitors. She was awarded Grand Champion Ewe against breed standard at the 2008 North Idaho Fair. She is very milky! His grand-dad, Khalid, on mama's side is one of the nicest rams I've ever seen...Sophie was bred to polled for her first lambing due to concerns about horn buds complicating delivery. As such, this lamb is Heterozygous for horns, and we cannot guarantee horn development...in our book, this is a concern for his breeding potential, and a culling trait, but not all breeders share this concern. He appears to be developing smooth, round, wide horns. Exceptional fleece.
He is darling. We can't wait to see how he turns out!
If you are interested in a terminal sire or a pet wether...this might just be your guy. $350

Dam: Fiona (registered) white spotted
ADU EWE FIONA 01H 3R  FOR SALE
 Sire: Grizwold (registered) grey mouflon
ADU RAM GRIZWOLD B24H 1R FOR SALE
We know you are looking for pictures of the lambs...but when a gal has triplets, she deserves a little recognition! Nyah, NFS, the ewe lamb, has black clown spots on her eyes (one looks like it was crossed out!) and lips, Nigel, NFS, a ram lamb, is all white with black hooves, and silver "trim" around the muzzle and backs of the legs, Nougat, SOLD, the other ram lamb, is solid white. Not only do both parents have exceptional build for meat, they throw lovely fleeces, have nice wide horns - and genetics for triplets and quads. Dam is very milky, with a large, well-attached udder. Check their pedigrees - lots of "AI". We were very much looking forward to this lambing, and Fiona was a champ - all perfect presentations, large vigorous lambs, and she is non-stressed, caring for them all.
Nyah will stay on the farm, at least one of the ram lambs will be offered at weaning. $550 if held prior by deposit. These are exceptional lambs and ram prospects! We're keeping two ourselves...

Dam: Legs (registered) polled Black Badgerface
                                PSS EWE B3E 523S SOLD
Sire: Sullivan
(registered) grey mouflon
                          SULLIVAN 04T  FOR SALE

Two gorgeous little girls! Milky leadersheep lines - ARI and BISKUP
a little badgerface mouflon, polled, and a grey black who will be horned/scurred...Had intended to breed polled to polled, but Sullivan had other intentions! Expected Edsel to be the daddy, but predictable Icelandic color-pattern genetics tells us otherwise...Not the worst thing that could happen, as Sullivan was awarded Grand Champion Ram against breed standard at the 2008 North Idaho Fair, and again in 2009...and we were thinking we didn't have lambs from him this year... Nebula is long-legged like her dam, and we expect her to grow out to be a beautiful sheep.

Dam: Eloise (2008, unregistered) white SOLD

Sire: Grizwold (registered) grey mouflon
ADU RAM GRIZWOLD B24H 1R FOR SALE

Previously known as Nieva, the ewe lamb, we made an important discovery...thus the name Nixon. Eloise's lamb is a BOY.
This is the reason we love Icelandics! Eloise, just now a year old, presented us with a clean, dry, nursing lamb one morning when we went down to feed. Her first lambing, she required absolutely no intervention on our part.  Of all of the sheep in our flock, Eloise has the superior fleece. Lustrous, almost glowing white, and lots of it! She showed no phaomelanin (yellowing) in her lamb fleece. She is tall, leggy and elegant looking, with delicate, wide horns. Sire of this lamb is Grizwold, who you have come to know through the previous lambs. All of his lambs are now on the ground. Nixon is pure white, showing some black pigmentation around the nose and eyes, indicating that he carries black or spotting. His fleece is pure white.
A spinner's dream...two lovely white Icelandics, wool to dye for!
If I didn't have mama, they would never leave. !

Dam: Ursula (registered)grey moorit                                      PLF EWE URSULA M2H 1S SOLD

Sire: Edsel (registered) solid moorit polled
SVD MOORIT RAM B5P 41U  SOLD

"Notso" was cleverly named by a dear farm guest who was visiting at the time of his birth. His entry into this life was "notso" easy at
a whopping 11 pounds...We expected heft from this breeding, and we got it. Gorgeous fleeces, milky, rapid growth and good muscling in these lines make him an excellent ram prospect. He's discovered that life on the outside is "notso" bad...he weighs 31 pounds as of 6-17-09. Notso has small acorn scurs. We are uncertain whether he is hetero- or homozygous for polling, as his dam is hetero- and his sire is homozygous polled. Gentle, placid temperament. "plays well with others" and especially fond of Nanette. Exceptional fleece.

Dam: Eira (registered Icelandic) black mouflon
PLF EWE EIRA B4H 6U  FOR SALE

Sire: Zebedee (registered) black badgerface
PLF RAM ZEBEDEE B3H 1T   SOLD

This little lamb comes from a great line, straight from Stefania's flock- Grannie YEOMAN EWE M2H 191J >Susie SUSIE 06T >Eira>
Two of the three remain on our farm as breeding ewes. She appears to be clean polled which is why we are offering her for sale...if she had horns, she would never leave the farm!
On her Daddy's side, there is BISKUP and ARI.

Dam: Storm (registered Icelandic)
BNF STORM EWE BP 1S  SOLD

Was this a mistake? Well...it wasn't what we had planned...but one of our best Icelandics - milk and Grand Champion fiber - was covered by our best Soay - fiber and meat - before he moved to Minnesota as a foundation sire for the first Soay flock in that state.
There is a breeder intentionally crossing these breeds, calling the offspring "Cascade Farmstead Sheep." It was purely unintentional on our part, but the results are lovely. We can see what motivated them to continue...Crossing this ram lamb with Polly's ewe lamb, you could build up your own homestead flock of unique sheep, for meat, milk, weed control...and possibly a lovely fiber with the shedding quality of a Soay. These are growthy lambs, showing outstanding hybrid vigor! They have made great gains!
$200 each, weaned now.
OOPS! Same daddy for this little ewe lamb - he "Peppered the flock!" Cascabel is just cute! This lamb is gorgeous and is gaining rapidly. Very novel fleece for a fiber enthusiast! Captivating heather grey-brown-red coloring. If she stays, you'll definitely see this fleece in the fair - or the lamb in open class crossbred. She is a potential milker, given mama's line.

Mama (registered Icelandic) this time is our best udder for milking
POLLY 06M  FOR SALE
