Garden Slideshow

Are you dreaming of a garden but don't have time or know-how?

Our farm is on rocky soil, so it has taken four years to build up enough organic tilth to plant a garden.
The sheep and llamas were major contributors to the effort.

This was the year we planted! We selected heirloom varieties of seed and reaped a bountiful crop,
despite the short season and adverse weather!

We do enjoy several old-growth fruit trees and the abundant harvest they produce - apples, cherries,
pears and plums, and last year we added some younger trees - including a peach tree!

We're planting "Seeds of Change"
Seeds of Change seeks out traditional varieties from the Americas and treasured heirlooms from abroad, many of which
are in danger of being lost due to the rapid consolidation within the seed industry and the decline of indigenous agriculture and seed-saving knowledge.
